There can sometimes be an expectation in a relationship that either you or your partner will eventually begin attending the same church. If you have this expectation (or believe your partner may have that expectation), bring it up to them and get their honest feelings on the matter.



Be open to the possibility of a new church or denomination and ask your partner to be open to the idea as well. If both of you are open to the idea, start attending services regularly at both churches and begin to think critically about which is the best choice for you as a couple.
