How I Found God on a Mountain Top
Over the top!
I finally gave it all up. Not because it was wrong in itself, but because my drivenness, when focussed on the wrong goal, was actually destroying me. I had to let God take control of my ambitions and allow Him to develop my personality, which He had made, in His own way. I was focussing on my own plans for my own image, He wanted to build my character to bring glory to Himself and the true fulfilment of someone He loved and gave Himself for. He had moved heaven and earth to save the life of a man who had never acknowledged Him. I now had to realise that such love demanded “my soul, my life, my all”. And that would be the only way to find true fulfilment!
