Fralick remembers: I competed in a number of sports growing up, but in my late teens I discovered the world of the rock climber. This new way of life, as it turned into, and the thrill of the mountaineering world became the mother lode of all the challenges life could offer. It gave me the greatest outlet to what I saw as true fulfilment. It was the key to absolute satisfaction and the holy grail of accomplishment. All of my unbridled and ambitious nature could be spent and satisfied on pursuing the very highest goals in this very forbidding environment.
