We must never discount to Whom we are speaking when we pray. He is the Almighty Creator of the Universe. He spoke and in an instant, everything rushed into being. He can do anything. The more we grow in knowing Him and the “bigger” He is to us, then the “smaller” is our view of life’s challenging trials. Theologian J.B. Phillips challenges us with his exhortation, “Your God is too small!”  Indeed, we have a “big” and great God who loves us and is with us at all times to care for us. Even when He says, "No."
