Rejoicing during times of trouble is only possible if we bring our personal view and perspective in line with God’s desire and are able to sense His purpose for our spiritual growth and maturity. Failure to do this will hardly produce rejoicing for trials and, in fact, may generate ungodly reactions. If this happens, then Satan has the victory.
