What does all that mean?

As I was writing my book, I traveled to Napa Valley to hang out with a vintner. I went other places as well, spending time with a shepherd, a farmer and a beekeeper.

With each, I asked the same thing, “How do you read the Bible, not as a theologian, but in light of what you do everyday?”

Their responses changed the way I read God's word.
