Food brings people together. Interacting with others with a meal is a great time to have conversation and learn from others. Step outside your comfort zone and instead of only sharing a meal with family, have a meal with others that are less fortunate. Christians should always be willing to help and learn from others. Check within your local community and see how you can get involved with your local soup kitchen(s).

Jesus would want you to make friendships with others and to learn ways you can help others in need. Volunteering at a soup kitchen is a great way to build relationships with individuals that may need guidance or just a friendly shoulder to lean on - so make an effort to break bread with others!
