Food Can't Replace Boredom

The second thing food can’t do is replace boredom. Ennui is a classic temptation to scream, “I can’t stand this anymore!” What? I ask. What can’t I stand? Boredom is a numb mind. Seriously, I can be bored while eating. So, food definitely doesn’t remove boredom. What does? The primary initiator of any action is thought, not butter toffee cashews. Feeding my mind with thoughts of divine Spirit coincides with activity. The activity may be mental or physical, but it will be focused on an invigorating progress and good-will, not food.
