'A Deliberate Attack Against the Name of Jesus Christ'

Franklin Graham on America as a Christian nation, his father, Islam, and how he prays

religionmajor posted this comment…........"Oh, and by the way, Allah IS the same God that we Christians worship" I believe this is false. The two are not the same. The Bible says, Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. No man can get to the father without the Son." To embrace the god of Islam would make God out to be a liar because it contradicts so much of what Jesus said, God's character, the need for salvation.

continued... For a Christian a true relationship with God begins only through Jesus Christ, our mediator and only bridge to salvation. He is THE Way. Jesus repeatedly makes it clear that He and His Father are one, both in Spirit and truth. The mission of the Son is the mission of the Father who sent Him. Those who deny the deity of Christ and His equality in the Trinity deny the God who sent Him. Islam teaches that God is not the Father of Jesus Christ but the Bible says that he is, therefore the God of Islam is not the God of the Bible. Islam teaches that the Holy Spirit is not God. It teaches that the Holy Spirit is the angel Gabriel and that through Gabriel God gave his revelations to the prophets. According to the Bible Allah is not God, Mohammed is not his prophet, and the Koran is not the word of God. This is what Franklin Graham teaches, as do many other evangelists. I happen to agree with everything Franklin says in this article. God bless him for not being politically correct.

Shame of Frankin Graham, the self-rigteous, Islam bashing crusader. His ignorance of Islam and Muslims is only topped by his contempt of my religion and I can't respect anyone who doesn't respect my faith. What scares me is the thought of Graham being the President instead of Bush. Instead of calling for understanding he would go on a bombing spree in NOT only Afghanistan and Iraq, but the Muslim nation aswell. I wouldn't be surprised if this cynic ordered dropping bombs from one plane and Bibles from the other to "save us" from Christian Hell. As for Jesus being Lord, I trepediate with fear of the day when the Truth will be shown by God and His Servant Jesus himself. SalaamAlaikum (That means Peace) for the ignorants amongst us, and by the looks of the poll, there seems to be A LOT!

i would have to agree with shinninggold5292,and thats wat you are in God`s eyes. The greatest command is to love God with everything and then second is your neighbour, because you can`t love your neighbour truly ,also yourself without the love of God. God will teach you to love yourself and others like yourself when you learn his love. Love is the greatest commandment not hate or revenge.

We should be what God wants us to be not clones. We are not terorist so we don`t have to be them, instead we are to love our enemies and love our neighbours as we love ourselves. God says cast your burdens on him and he will give you his light yolk,he is saying let your burden be his(we don`t have to have trouble). i use to hate religion because i thought they were destroying Christians but than i found that God has freed us from the world and its sin. Jesus was never violent. its a great time to show Gods love and peace. I believe nothing is stronger than love ,because without love, the love of God would be useless. i read this article and found alot of violence in it and i can not see much of Christ attitude in it. We are brothers and sisters running a race to save as many people possible. Pray for your enemies and let God revenge them who go against you. Christ is love and we are a smaller example of Christ demostrating his love as much as we can.

Oh, and by the way, Allah IS the same God that we Christians worship, and I'll tell you why: the word just means "God". It's used by Arab Christians when they pray. If the God of Judaism is the same as our God, so is the God of Islam, because they are described abnd discussed the same way. What's missing from both is Jesus, which is what we have to add to all faiths.

This sort of talk is exactly why we have a problem in the Middle East! Ever since the crusades, we have done nothing but denigrate Muslims and Islam, ignoring the 1500 years or so when there were no Muslim terrorists. Sure, tehre was Arab and Turk expansionists, but look at what we did in the Western Hemisphere in the name of God and Jesus! How soon we forget the Indians put to death because they wouldn't convert. At least the Muslim conquerers allowed people to keep their religion. Islam does not cause terrorism, a feeling of estrangement causes terrorism. Whenever a group feels voiceless and powerless, it resorts to suicide bombings, to attacks on innocents, anything to make us pay attention. It's been done in Northern Ireland, by paramilitary groups in America, by New Religions in Japan. Instead of attacking Islam, let's get to the root of the problem: the economic and cultural opression of Arab countries by Western nations.

Franklin Graham has to be admired at least for standing up for what he believes. In many ways I think he has more courage than his famous father. Franklin is right about the name of Christ and how the world reacts to the name of the Son of God. For no man lived, or spoke as Christ did and no man walked out of the grave as He did 2000 years ago forever changing the world of men. I think what Franklin says about islam is what millions around the world believe but are afraid to speak. I applaud Franklin for his work feeding and helping the poor in Africa and around the world no matter what their faith..may God bless and protect him.

You can't know jews clearly from their face, but it is possible. There are two RACIAL sects which frimarliy follow the RELIGION JUDAISM. Sephardic orientals are a semstic peoples whicth the same ancenstry as the arabs and make up a minority of the jews today. Most of thim live throughout the middles east. Ashekenazis or Khazarians are also known as the Russio-Europoeans, and they form the majority of the Jewish population. The Ashekenazis converted to Jusdaism in 40 CE (?) after Sephardic Jews fleeing from Canaan came to the area of Khasaria in central russia. Hence, the majority of the jews who emigrated to Israel in the 20th century were ASHEKENAZI, or Europoean Jews, with no RACIAL origin to the land of Palestine. Only the semsetic peoples of palestine cna claim such right (the Arabs and Sephardic Jews, both of whom lived sisde by side in peace for hundreds of years until the mass immigrations of Ashekenazi jews in the 18 and 1900's).

Also what is the relation between US rules and christianity? The only christian country(that apply the christian rules) is the smallest country in the world with no actual citizens inside it, they are the religious leaders of catholics. But US rules differ completely, do you mean that christian belief make US drop the atomic bombs on civilans in Japan? and the racism that was present in the US legally until few decades. Also do not forget that the racial nazi movement occurred in christian democratic germany. While he did not read the old testament and show the roles of war in it , and how many people have been killed.

I think this Franklin is so ignorant. The bible said this land (the holy land) was given to Abraham and his seed. So this land is for "arabs" and "children of Israel". And to this ignorant , "children of Israel" are not equal to "jews" as "arabs" are not equal to "muslims" . Some of children of israel converted to christianity (like Paul , and the disciples, and others) and some converted to islam. Also some converted to judiasm and are not children of israel like jews of Ethiopia, which face racial treatment n israel. And some of arabs are christian and jews. So in which base this land is given for jews. You can know arabs from their face , like you know japanese and people of far east form their face. But can you know jews from their face?

Sallam Aleikom, Here is a verse from the Quran that speaks of tolerance: [The Holy Qur'an 2:62] Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.
