http://dennishooker.com. I have lived by the promise, "Freely have you been given to, freely give". I have written 25 books for teachers, counselors, Recovery - and a couple of MP3 Meditations on the 23rd Psalm and Lord's Prayer. Because I am Going Back Home soon (I've become very old - chuckle) I am giving my books and MP3's to those that will share them with others. They will be sent to you on a cd/dvd by return mail. I only ask that you give them to parents/teachers/counselors/persons in recovery, etc. Ask them to freely give them to others. Several of the books were state-adopted work-a-texts in schools. What a joy to give - "cast your bread on the waters - and receive back a sandwich!" Friend, Dennis

I have something to say that some may not believe but it comes from the heart and is so true it can't be not spoken. I hadn't attended church since being a teenager. In the mid 90's i started taking ephedrine and when asked to go to church I hesitated even with the meds because I have been so active and out of church so long. In 1996 I was or offically accpeted jesus as my savior and being able to sit and listen helped me so I'm forever in debt to something god put here for our use or non use and certainly want the world to know the two sides to a story! thanks. please give some of us defiant but understandably so christians the benifit of the doubt because the cure can be worse than the medicine yes in reverse occasionally. EArth is a Sheep in the Herd, Earth is a Ship in the Fleet. Astronauts are weightless, so we can say that planets are weightless, too. the Sun is a Lamp in the HAnd of Jupiter. they are wending to meet the Human. "Lord is My Shepherd" might be interpreted as "i am wending with the planet Jupiter", with respect to Noah the Zoologist. Saturn is the Agriculturist. and there is another planet known as the Husband. St Nicholas had met three pilgrimages in barrels with salty water in on the way to France. they were not exposed to the sun, they were in an inn. St Nicholas educated these three pilgrimages and they walked on the ground. Alexander the Great had met Dionysos in a barrell and Dionysos was looking for the Human with a LAmp on His HAnd.

i love the word "23rd", it sounds like "the wendy the herd", inspired after "the Lord is My Shepherd". what is the difference between Lord and Wendy? or better ask this way, who did Wend? St Nicholas and St Augustine had went from Anatolia to France. St Thomas had went, too. Moses and His People had walked in circular path, this reminded the planets to me. Orbit of Venus is the nearest to complete circle. is Venus like a desert? Bible has Gifts for the Pupils.

It was absolutely beautiful. I often turn to the 23rd Psalm in times of trouble, and repeat it to myself over and over. Everyone has problems and worries at times, and sometimes it is hard to find the peace and serenity that comes with leaving it in the Lord's hands. As the verse Phillipians 4:6 states, " Be anxious for nothing...". Thank for that wonderful, and very calming presentation, just another reason I love your website so much.

MIRICLE 704 YOUR COMMENT ON THE 23RD PSALMS WAS IN MY OPIOION VERY UPLIFTING AND INFORMATIVE, EXCEPT THERE WAS ONE SENTENCE WHERE YOU STATED, "BLACKS WERE THE FIRST PEOPLE TO INHIBIT THE EARTH", COULD YOU ELABORATE ON THIS A LITTLE MORE. I BELIEVE THAT SCIENCE PROVIDES SCIENTIFIC PROOF THAT THE BIBLE IS REAL AND TRUE. FOR INSTANCE EXPLAINING THE REASON FOR THE DIFFERENT COLORS OF PEOPLE. TAKE THE FACTS THAT WE LEARNED IN BIOLOGY ABOUT DOMINANT AND RECESSIVE GENES AND WITH THAT IN MIND TAKE THE SCRIPTURES FROM THE BIBLE DICRIBING THE CREATION OF MAN AND WOMAN THEN DO THE MATH. Genesis Chapter 2 [5] when no plant of the field was yet in the earth and no herb of the field had yet sprung up -- for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was no man to till the ground; [6] but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground -- [7] then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. [21] So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh; [22] and the rib which the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. [23] Then the man said, "This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man." "dust from the ground" OR SOIL (EARTH) note from this other scientific facts prove this to be true. THE COLOR OF FRESHLY WATERED SOIL IS A DARK TINT ALMOST BLACK AND FROM THIS MAN WAS MADE "So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh; and the rib which the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman....bone of my bones" THE RIB IS A BONE AND BONE IS LIGHT IN COLOR OR ALMOST WHITE AND FROM THIS WOMAN WAS MADE. IN CONCLUSION, ADAM WAS BLACK AND EVE WAS WHITE AND SO THE DOMINANT AND RECESSIVE GENES WHICH EXPLAINS THE DIFFERENT COLORS OF HUMANS. I CAN PERSONALLY RELATE TO THIS AS SO CAN MANY OTHERS PERHAPS YOURSELF. ON MY MOTHERS SIDE MY GRANDPA WHITE- GRANDMA FULL-BLOODED NATIVE AMERICAN MAKING MY MOM 1/2 AND 1/2 = HER THREE BROTHERS ARE DARK SKIN SHE IS LIGHT WITH BLK HAIR MY DAD IS BLACK AS FAR AS I KNOW 99% MAKING ME 1/2 BLK 1/4 INDIAN 1/4 WHITE MY SIS AND I ARE VERY LIGHT SKIN I HAVE GREEN EYES HERS ARE BROWN MY HAIR IS BLACK AND KINKY HERS IS BLOND AND WAVY AND OUR BROTHER IS DARK BROWN EYES BLK/WAVY HAIR. MIRCLE 704 OR ANYONE ELSE LET ME KNOW YOUR OPINIONS ON THIS GOD BLESS ALL, COCOLOCO

THE 23 PALMS IS NOT ABOUT DEATH AT ALL, IT IS A PALM TELLING HOW GREAT GOD IS TO US WHEN WE FOLLOW HIS RULES AND WAYS. IT IS ABOUT FOLLOWING IN THE PATH OF RIGHTOUSNESS, SO THAT GOD WILL ALWAYS PROTECT US AND BLESS US ABUNDANTLY. GOD MAKE US REST AND BE AT PEACE WITH OURSELVES AND OUR FELLOWMAN. GOD FORGIVES US FOR ALL OF OURS SIN AND PUT US BACK ON THE RIGHT TRACK OF LIFE. THE PALM TELL US THAT GOD PREPARES A TABLE FOR US, THAT MEANS HE GIVE US EVERYTHING WE NEEDS AND WARNS US THAT PEOPLE WILL BE JEALOUS OF US. THE VALLEY OF THE SHADAW OF DEATH IS PLACES WHERE UNGODLY PEOPLE COME TOGETHER AND DO WRONGFUL THINGS. WE WILL NOT BE AFRAID BECAUSE GODS IS WITH US , HIS RULE AND LAWS TO FOLLOW AND HIS ANGELS . WE ARE BLESSED AND WE HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH. GOD WILL ALWAYS FORGIVE OUR TRANGRESSIONS AND GOOD THINGS WILL ALWAYS COME TO US ALL THE DAYS OF OUR LIVES. WE SHALL LIVE IN GODLY WAY FOREVER. AMEN , AMEN IS AN AFRICAN CONCEPT OF GODS NAME. SINCE BLACKS WERE THE FIRST PEOPLE TO INHIBIT THE EARTH. AMEN IS THE NAME ATTACHED TO EGYPTIAN PHAROAHS. THE PRAYERS IS MORE RICHER AND DEEPER THAN WHAT IS HERE IT IS FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL TO TAKE TIME AND UNDERSTAND EACH LINE OF THE PRAYERS FOR THEMSELVES. THIS PRAYER ENCOMPASS MANY THINGS INCLUDING MAGIC. IT IS THE MOST MAGNIFICENT PRAYERS IN THE BIBLE AND YOU WILL DISCOVER IT IS THE ONLY PRAYERS THAT IS NEEDED TO KEEP YOUR SOUL AT PEACE. ALL OTHER VERSES AND CHAPTERS IN PALMS SPRINGS FROM THIS VERY PRAYERS. GOD BLESS US TO HAVE HIGHER WISDOM, AMEN!

I have loved this psalm since I was a little girl, and yet, and always thought of it as a beautiful "poem" until I started working with the elderly 6 years ago. Through their eyes, I began to understand the meaning. As they struggle with the sunsets of their life, they have told me that this psalm becomes so very important as a comfort and reassurance that "all is well". They have taught me alot......

the 23rd psalm has a traditional value to me...although i do not fully understand it, except that it is saying to us and the the person who passed not to be afraid of death because"God" is walking with us..and them.. i have tried to memorize it many times and for some reason i cannot... but i do know the Lords prayer by heart..."our father who art in heaven" when my father died(he was in a hospice)..i walked into the room with my brother and sisters.. a candle was lit and the bible was open to the 23rd pslam...it was very comfortng to me..because thats the prayer that is always read at the funerals in my family..and he looked so peaceful....

I say this prayer every night, sometimes more then once. It, at times, makes me cry. Not because it makes me sad, but because it makes me realize what God has done for me. The smallest things that I take for granted everyday, I stop and think about each one then I say the prayer out loud, I don't care where I am or who hears me, I just do it to try to stay focused on our Lord, and what He has givin' us all.
