Tell Us Your True Ghost Stories

Topic

: Do you believe in spirits? According to a

recent Beliefnet poll

, 77 percent of our readers believe they have been in the presence of a ghost or apparition. For Halloween, we’d like to collect some of those paranormal stories from you to share. Whether the spirit is that of your guardian angel, a deceased loved one, or an unfamiliar entity, we want to hear about your otherworldy encounters and see pictures of your sightings, if you have any. Beliefnet will publish the best stories and photos for our community this holiday.

What to do:

1. Write your story in 250 words or less.

2. Find photos that help tell it (i.e: the room where your spirit resides, a picture of the ghost).

3. Email both to the below address.

Send to:

editorialbeliefnet2@gmail.com

by this Friday, and you may see your story in an upcoming Beliefnet feature. Subject line should be "My Spirit Encounter."

Deadline:

Friday, Oct. 27, 2006.

Please note

:

  • Include your name, your occupation, your city/state of residency.
