Beliefnet has joined forces with WorldManna.org, a new multifaith organization devoted to ending world hunger.

You can make a difference this holiday season by signing the WorldManna pledge, which encourages consumers to purchase food products that display the WorldManna label. This label indicates that 1% of the proceeds of that food product will be donated by the manufacturer to alleviate and prevent world hunger.

What's WorldManna?
WorldManna.org is a new initiative dedicated to ending world hunger. By building a constituent power base, spanning all faith communities, we will urge food manufacturers to donate 1% of their revenue toward the goal of ending hunger. WorldManna.org offers simple ways for all of us, around the globe, to make a difference. This Thanksgiving, a time when many Americans give thanks for a bounty of food, many other Americans have little to eat. WorldManna.org offers one solution to this problem.
