The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is where many Catholics believe the crucifixion and resurrection took place. Why the separation between the two places?

RM: "From our perspective this Garden belongs to the Living God. It's God's Garden; it's not our Garden. [It's] a place for Christians to come and pray, meditate, [and] to take communion. The message of the Garden Tomb [is] that the place isn't important: the person is important. Our faith isn't based on touching the stones that Jesus may or may not of walked on. That is not our faith position. We want to focus people here on the hero of the story."
