Six feet under screams, but no one seems to hear a thing?” When Katy Perry sang these lyrics in her No. 1 hit 2010 song “Firework”, she touched a soft spot in the hearts of millions. “Firework” speaks to the lonely, broken hearted and the lost with the promise that they have a spark and that they can “ignite the light and let it shine.” It’s certainly a rally song when you need a confidence boost, because it’s hard not to feel better when you hear her sing, “Boom, boom, boom, even brighter than the moon!”
