Six Jewish Films Everyone Should See

Yentl

While this film certainly has an overblown musical score, it is a classic in the genre of Jewish films. Featuring Barbara Streisand as Yentl, who disguises herself as a boy in order to get a Yeshiva education, this film has it all -- music, drama, a gender-bending love story, and a happy ending. Everyone should see it at least once.
