The Top Ten Family Movies of 2006

Sharon Linnea, our Reel Inspirational columnist, offers her picks for the year's top family movies:

This is the time of year when you'll hear a lot of bellyaching about the lack of quality movies, especially kid-friendly ones. But don't believe it! This year, at least, was a great one for family films. It's almost as if Hollywood discovered that "if you make good movies, they will come."

To prove the point, I am presenting my favorites in this gallery. I've tried to skew the list to include some picks for each age group, with the caveat that adults will enjoy watching at the same time. Each film on the list below is a ripping good story, well told.
