Baggins returns home as an outcast after his journey. The other Hobbits were not ready to embrace his heroics or his gifts. All of us have felt like an outcast at some point during our own journey as people tend to be clicky, territorial, mean-spirited, or confrontational. Continuing despite snickers or tongues wagging of contempt, will make us grow, and stay focus. Don’t let people or their rejection sway you off the beaten path. Baggins? He just dug in!
