As One Devil to Another came to me through grace, which is how everything that is good comes to us.  My greatest desire now is to be worthy of this gift, however forlorn the hope. 

All the works of man in all of recorded history do not have the value of a single human soul.  It is my hope that As One Devil to Another will cause people to rethink their hierarchy of values, their relationship to God, and to each other, to question their world, ask what it has become and what it might become, and to turn for guidance to the great man to whom I owe so much, and to our mutual Master, to whom we are both forever and joyfully indebted.
