Only two nominations for best song? Really?
This is the Oscar nominations' biggest puzzler.
Ony one song was nominated from Bret McKenzie's terrific soundtrack for "The Muppets" and it wasn't even the best song in the film (that would be "Life's a Happy Song"). I like "Real in Rio" from "Rio" but there were eligible songs this year from Lady Gaga, Elton John, Chris Cornell, Sinead O'Connor, and Mary J. Blige. (Madonna's Golden Globe winner from her film "W.E." was ineligible on a technicality.)
