Each of novelist Mary Higgins Clarks’ 42 books has been a bestseller in the United States and Europe. Her debut suspense novel, Where Are The Children, is in its 77th printing. She began writing at an early age, but throughout the 1950s and 1960s, she was frustrated when no publisher was interested in her work. Today she has sold more 80 million copies in the U.S. alone. And at age 85, she has released a new novel The Lost Years that wraps a murder mystery around the idea of “What if Jesus had written a letter in His own hand? What if somebody found it?” But where did she get the idea?
