One of the most inspirational athletic films ever made, Hoosiers tells the story of the fictional 1952 Indiana state high school basketball champs, the Hickory Huskers. Based on the real-life 1954 state champs Milan Indians, the film tells of a little team that overcame impossible odds with an oddball four-pass offense and a team that played with all their hearts. Here are some memorable lines from the 1968 film starring Gene Hackman as Coach Norman Dale and Dennis Hopper as the memorable Wilbur “Shooter” Flatch.
