This center sits half in and half out of the top of our head.  Its color is purple and it deals with our connection to the divine.  If someone feels angry about a religion or experiences an inability to trust faith, their crown chakra is overactive.  When we experience an inability to believe in anything, a fear of opening up to the mystery of the unknown and distrust of others who do believe, then this center gets closed down.  To balance this chakra, affirm “I trust in the universe.”
