My favorite book, the 1972 classic novel Watership Down, tells the tale of a group of displaced rabbits determined to find a new home. In these small but fiercely determined fighters, I saw kindred spirits for they believed in the possibility of a different life-and stood resolute in their belief that one day they would find it.
