Any celebrity hoping to have the biggest plunge and rebirth ever has stiff competition from Ms. Spears.  The marginally talented singer married a bona fide loser, got hooked on drugs, shaved her own head, and walked barefoot in all manner of disgusting places.  Her first return to the stage was a disturbing failure, but she certainly got it right the second time.
