More than 20 years ago on Christmas Eve, Kevin Bacon placed a ring in the bottom of Kyra Sedwick's Christmas stocking. When she found it, he got down on his knees (she later told About.com he was "shaking") and proposed. The hardworking couple originally met on the set of the TV movie "Lemon Sky," where each had a role. They married in 1998 and went on to have two children.

The "Footloose" star Bacon spoke about his love for Sedgwick in an interview with Cosmopolitan: "No place, no business could break up my wife and me. I would never give the movie business so much credit. To me, marriage is about committing yourself to one person. In my opinion, I got the hottest babe there is; I would never do anything to jeopardize that."

In a USA Today interview, Sedgwick gushed when asked whether absence makes the heart grow fonder as she films her sit series, "The Closer" in Los Angeles, while Bacon and her two children live in New York: "My heart soars [when I see him]. I get that thing--I totally do, still, absolutely. My heart skips a bit, and I'm just filled with love and attraction."
