The Grapes of Wrath is the tale of the Joad family who strived to make a better a life for themselves during the Great Depression. The penury of migrant workers greeted the Joad’s as they moved west for a better life. Instead they encountered the self-interest of the banks, living in tent cities and helped other families in desperation.
