According to The Baltimore Catechism, God made us “to know, love and serve Him in this world, and to be happy with Him forever in heaven.”

In order to love and serve God, we must first know Him. Prayer helps to accomplish this, but we must also read and study to learn more about God and our Catholic faith. The following are five books that have greatly helped me in my spiritual journey.
