Wow... I guess the good rabbi wrote this up himself... I can tell from the tone of pompous self-promotion he exudes here, and everywhere else, when he writes about himself. Let's add some interesting and IMPORTANT missing DETAILS from the above bio, shall we? Yes, he WAS a FORMER rabbi of Oxford Univeristy... FORMER because he was run out of town for FRAUD... It was found that he had taken charitable donations given to the Chaim Society and used them personally! - On two extravagant homes and on trips to Switzerland for example... We are talking about over $200,000 in donations! He was also fraudulent in his dealings with Michael Jackson... getting in good with him, posing as a spiritual advisor... basking in his limelight... using him as a stepping stone to procure his own fame... promising him a position of respect by venturing to start with him, a children's charity initiative called Heal the Kids, so dear to Michael's heart, and then turning around and basically squandering donations from loving and supportive fans on supposed "Administrative costs" and pocketing money himself there as well... Not to mention the fact that he also mismanaged Michael's existing Heal the World Foundation funds in 2001-2002 and went behind Michael's back and gave controlling rights of the foundation to Melissa Johnson, who was sued by MJ's Estate for fraud as well! Let's not forget the BOOK he wrote all about Michael and his 2000 -2001 conversations with him, which he released AFTER Michael's death, from which he prospered, and in which he lied and self-promoted... Are these actions of an honourable rabbi? I think NOT. Schmuley, you are a fake one and you are no friend of Michale. It was people like you who stood in the way of his having true friends be there for him. You will answer for your betrayal when your judgment time comes. You like the rest of the media who persecuted Michael, will indeed be held accountable before God. He is gone now. You are still here, not because you are a better person. Yes, his comparisons to MLK, Mother Teresa and Gandhi was well understood by us. You are choosing to make a mockery of someone you called a friend. Do you know the meaning of that word. You and your family are snakes, who crawled into Micheal's life and leeched him, You can never be trusted. You have no shame. I am so sorry that Michael went as far as he did, before finding out that you were a fiend not a friend. You have been profiting from your association with Michael. Those are all ill begotten gain. Like a thief you stole and as a thief, you will pay. There is no reward in what you have done. You should hang your head in shame, you Judas!

I plan on boycotting Beliefnet if they publish anything by Schmuley Boteach again, because he is extremely vengeful, specifically towards Michael Jackson (see Boteach's articles here published previous to Jackson's death - they are snide, slanderous, and sick). Even after Michael's death Boteach continues to use his previous connection to Jackson for MONEY, for his own personal, twisted GAIN.. The reason why he was "estranged" from Michael Jackson's life is because Michael was sensitive and savvy enough to recognize what a phony, fame-seeking leech Schmuley Boteach was. Boteach was investigated for fraud by the British Charitable Commission, is barred from using the pulpit in the UK, and had unseemly financial dealings with US charities as well. Since Michael cut personal ties with him, it seems as if Boteach has been spinning stories which "almost but not quite" continue the lies of Michael's pedophilia allegations, in pure, sick REVENGE. Schmuley Boteach now needs to be barred from Beliefnet!
