Dinty W. Moore

Dinty W. Moore, the author of "The Accidental Buddhist: Mindfulness, Enlightment, and Sitting Still, American Style" (Main Street Books) and two other books, both nonfiction and fiction, has published widely in journals and magazines, including The New York Times Magazine, the Philadelphia Inquirer, The Georgia Review, The Southern Review, and The Iowa Review. A regular essayist for Arts & Letters: Journal of Contemporary Culture and the winner of a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in fiction writing, he is also the online editor of Creative Nonfiction and an associate professor of English at Pennsylvania State University's Altoona campus.
