In Their Own Words: How 9/11 Inspired Our Readers

The events of September 11, 2011 touched us all and for many, forever changed our lives. Whether or not we were directly impacted by the events of 9/11, many of us were inspired to spend more time with our families and friends, become more involved in our churches, and to donate and volunteer our time to charity.

In honor of the 10^th Anniversary of 9/11, we asked readers to tell us how the events of that day inspired life changes, both large and small, for a chance to win $250 to donate to their favorite charity. Here are some of the stories we received.
